FrameVault

Last updated: 8 June 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how FrameVault, accessible at trifectabethorseracing.com (the “Site”), handles personal information of people who visit, read or interact with the Site. We publish analytical content on UK horse racing betting markets, with a particular focus on Trifecta and Tricast products. We are not a betting operator and we do not accept stakes.

Who is responsible for your information

The data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018 is the editorial organisation operating FrameVault. Throughout this Policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that organisation. Where you need to contact us about data protection, please use the contact path published in the Legal Notice for the Site.

The information we collect

We collect only the information that we need to operate the Site and to understand which of our analyses are useful to readers. Most of this information is collected automatically by your browser when you visit a page.

The categories are as follows. Technical data: your Internet Protocol address (in truncated, non-identifying form), the browser and operating system you use, the referring URL, the pages you view on the Site, the date and time of each request, and approximate region derived from your IP address at country or regional level. Device data: screen size class, language preference and whether you are visiting from a mobile or desktop device. Interaction data: aggregate measures of how long pages are read, which internal links are followed and whether interactive elements (for example a frequently-asked-questions accordion) are opened. Voluntary data: any information that you choose to send to us — for example a correction or comment on an article — through the contact path published in the Legal Notice.

We do not collect special category data. We do not ask for financial information. We do not host accounts and we do not store passwords.

The lawful bases on which we rely

Under the UK GDPR we rely on the following lawful bases. Legitimate interests, under Article 6(1)(f), for the operation, security and analytical improvement of the Site. Consent, under Article 6(1)(a), for any non-essential cookies and for any tracking that goes beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the page you have requested. Legal obligation, under Article 6(1)(c), where applicable law requires us to retain or disclose information.

How we use the information

We use technical and interaction data to operate the Site, to maintain the security of the server, to detect abusive traffic, to measure which articles are most useful and to plan editorial updates. We use voluntary data only to respond to the message you have sent and, where relevant, to correct or improve an article you have written to us about.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the data we collect for behavioural advertising. We do not build profiles of named readers.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the page to render and for security; they cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies, where used, are loaded only after you have given consent through the cookie banner. The full inventory of cookies in use, their purpose and their retention period is set out in the Cookie Policy.

Third parties

To deliver the Site we rely on a small number of carefully selected service providers — for hosting, content delivery, font delivery and, where consent has been given, analytics. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are bound by contract to handle information only on our instructions and in line with applicable data protection law. Where any such provider transfers personal data outside the United Kingdom, we ensure that an appropriate safeguard recognised by the UK GDPR is in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.

We link to external resources — including the British Horseracing Authority, the Gambling Commission, the Horserace Betting Levy Board, GambleAware and GamCare — for the benefit of readers. Once you leave the Site, the privacy practices of those external organisations apply and are outside our control.

How long we keep your information

Server logs are retained for no longer than is necessary for security and diagnostic purposes, typically a maximum of ninety days. Aggregated analytics data, which does not identify any individual reader, may be retained for up to twenty-six months to support trend analysis. Voluntary correspondence is kept for the period needed to handle the matter raised and for a reasonable record-keeping period thereafter.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, to ask us to delete information where we have no continuing lawful basis to keep it, to restrict our processing while a query is resolved, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to receive a copy of information you have provided to us in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s independent supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address any concern before you approach the regulator.

Children

The Site discusses gambling products that are restricted to adults aged 18 and over in the United Kingdom. The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect the Site, including transport-layer encryption for all pages, hardened server configuration and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, in the technology we use, or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page indicates when the Policy was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage of the Site for a reasonable period.

Responsible play

FrameVault publishes analysis only and does not encourage anyone to bet beyond their means. If betting is affecting you or someone you know, free and confidential support is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline operated by GambleAware on 0808 8020 133, and from GamCare.
